10th ACTAA Scale Rally At NAAS Sunday 19 October

The 10th ACTAA sponsored Canberra Scale rally

Hosted by  the NAAS on Sunday the 19 October 2014.

 

Gates open on Sunday  at 8:00am and close at 4:00pm.

Field will also be open on Saturday and all weekend for Interstate visitors and WW1 aircraft.

The Rally is organized as  an enjoyable fun-fly with judging casually taking place until lunch time. Trophies will be awarded after lunch. After judging flying can continue all afternoon.

The objective is to have fun flying and to fly the aircraft in a scale type manor, however DR1’s have been known to fly Knife edge at the NAAS field and some eindeckers have been seen hovering and doing high angle of attack maneuvers.

 

Pre entry is $10.00.

Please pay pre entry into  NAAS BSB 112 908 Acct:421754943 and include your name in the description.

Entry on the day will be $10.00.

One Entry fee covers all the aircraft you can bring.

All entires must have proof of current model aircraft insurance.

 

Entry forms will be available on the day and will have to be filled out and signed before the pilot is allowed to start flying.

Judging will be in accordance with the ACTAA Scale Rally rules.

Trophies will also be awarded for

-Pilots Choice

-Most Memorable Flight

 

Pilots with WW1 aircraft can also enter the additional WW1 category with Trophies being sponsored by NAAS.

There will be trophies for  WW1: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

 

The BBQ will be run all day starting for breakfast with the mandatory

Egg and bacon roll, followed by hash browns, sausage and steak.

Tea and coffee and soft drinks will also be available.
